From
its inception, Indian Springs Ranch has been about growing grapes
of the finest quality, for winemakers looking to create wines of
distinctive character.
In
1979, after years as an amateur winemaker, (and electronics industry
executive) George MacLeod set about turning his dream of creating
a world class vineyard into a reality. Site selection criteria quickly
focused on the Sonoma Valley, a location where the combination of
soils and climate create one of the truly unique grape growing regions
in the world.
To
Grow Quality Grapes
Our
fifty, rocky, hillside acres along the west side of the historic
Valley of the Moon provide us with a special location and
environment to custom grow quality wine grapes for reserve vintage
wines. Sonoma Valley is recognized worldwide as one of the few areas
with a combination of soils and climate for the production of award
winning wines.
